A Cat's Life has been updated on both Skyrim Legacy and Special Edition. The update includes mainly bug fixes for frustrations such as the stores not restocking their goods as they should and other minor fixes. One new addition to the mod is the ability to craft biscuits, food and treats on the cooking pot alongside cat milk. The recipes can be found being sold by each cat store merchant.
If you download and use the update, please report any issues on the mod page and I'll look into them for the next update. I'm hoping the changes take effect on all existing save games as Skyrim can act strangely when updating certain aspects of mods.
