Before I get started, this is going to be a somewhat lengthy announcement and it’s going to include a lot of details about the next couple of months, as well as my plans for the future in regard to content. Please do bear with me and give this a good read.
So first, let me start by announcing the cancellation of tonight’s stream. I know I said that the schedule was going to be untouched for two weeks and I’m sad that it’s not quite gone to plan. My keyboard today finally gave up on me and my system is acting up a little, meaning I now need to spend the evening getting it fixed.
With some things going wrong today, it’s left me with some thinking to do and I’ve come to some conclusions. For those of you that are unaware, I’m moving to a new house in three weeks and it will take me until October 3rd until I’m fully moved in. I’m going to be throwing a ton of junk out and bringing in a bunch of new stuff. I’m looking at this as a fresh start to get some things sorted out in both my personal life and on the Darkfox127 front. I’ve decided that I’m going to cut down on things for the next two months. That means there will be less streams and YouTube content will slow down yet again. The modding will continue in the background and I have the website still to complete. I’m going to work out a schedule this evening and get the events section of the website updated.
The plan is that once I move into my new property I can upgrade my setup and lay things out in a way that will help me create content quicker and do higher quality streams. Taking some time off from some streaming and making other content will allow me to get everything sorted for the future.
So, what does the future hold? I plan on streaming Skyrim on the Gaming Nights of the live stream, as well as starting a Skyrim let’s play on my YouTube channel. I want to get around to playing the game and keeping my content on the right track. I’ll still be playing other games for Gaming Nights of course but I want the focus to be on Skyrim. I also want to continue to create tutorials for the YouTube channel.
I’m sorry that I continue to make false promises but hopefully with a new house and setup, things can start to finally get to where I want them to be. I like to think that the community and content has grown and improved dramatically over the past 12 months and I hope it continues to do so.
I look forward to returning with new mods, videos, streams and entertainment in October and I hope you’ll all stick around to see it. Although I’m still going to be around and doing some stuff of course, so don’t run away just yet.
